Not sure if you all are serious...but you'll notice I'm the top player on the top player list. If you truly think you stand a chance...sure I'll log on. I'll admit arenaserv really does need revived (admittingly I probably played a hand in its destruction with my constant demolishing). Am I overcofident? Of course. I have the skills to back it up...come prove me wrong.

Heh, mitch can vouch for my skills too. I'm bored and I saw this topic pop up, so I figured I'd try to bait people into fighting me.

Damn, you caught me. 778 kills, 235 deaths, 206 wins. Pretty terrible stats on my part.

I can't deny that, though I'd say skill is a bigger part than you think. It takes a bit more than luck to win as much as I have, and I've beaten those with lower ping than me. I won't argue it though, as I could end up going on for a whole paragraph. I will say we arena fighters are a dying breed, and I wish more people showed interest in how much strategy is involved in such a simple system. That and I prefer a good challenge over a win. That's one reason I come off as overconfident, as I want people to either match me, or surpass me.

Edit: 16 mins later. It seems neither the overcofident nor the honest approach lured anyone...I'm going to either have to come up with a new plan or track down some oldbies (though the last option is nigh impossible)...so I'll just think up a new plan to lure people.

Yeah I know what you mean. I think I give up tonight since nobody wanted to test my skills. Mayby the original poster will show up tomorrow or something (I'll just need to catch them around). I don't expect much of a challenge, but who knows. I've spent more time in arena than anywhere else in eo (and thats saying something, seeing I got level 22 legit on orig eo test before, before I lost that account, but I don't really care about that since it was an excuse to go full time arena, and develop my skills to what they are today). I really do miss several of my old arena partners who always faught me and never gave up, no matter how much they lost. I love determined fighters since they can some day match me in an even fight, and hopefully even surpass me, so I can push myself past my limit. Man...I really tend to ramble when arena is involved. I rarely post on anything else here on eoserv (but I think thats partly due to the large amount of trolls, and I didn't see myself getting into a serious discussion without some sort of interruption. You can tell by my join date, and my extremely low post count lol.

I'd say that's true. Alot of the eo players you see in servers these days just want an easy server with little to no gameplay with hacked in features. I'd say there are only a handful of us who actually want to play the game in the way it was intended. I find myself checking out servers less and less these days, and I usually don't stay very long when I do. I still havn't fully gave up on eo, as much as my head tells me to do so. There are literally no other mmorpgs that have the same feel either (believe me, I"ve looked). I've seen close resemblances, but nothing that has truly felt the same.

Edit: You play gunz? I used to play that a long time ago, and back then I had crappier internet/computer. These days I'd imagine I'd actually be hitting the target when I see myself hit it.

Edit2: Come to think of it, do you play on the actual gunz server or a private one? I've heard rumors that the actual one has gone to hell, but I havn't confirmed it.
