Ok. So my brother is paralyed so he has some people coming over here looking after him. The person looking after him stole my moms card or w.e and used it for xbox live. Heres the shocker though. They made up an email using my first and last nme, my bday, and used the credit card under that account to buy xbox live. They tracked the person down to my house and my mom is pissed thinking its me. I dont even play xbox im on ps3 daily or imvu so does anyone have any tips for me to get through this hard time. Plus i have a job and my own cc. If i wanted xbox live i could've gotten it myself. Halp!!

well your only evidence is the person taking care of your brother is not going to come back after they commited fraud, theres your answer. give the carers details in to the police. grab any evidance you have or can.
if its sites you have registered to this might help.
other than this you can't do much other than get your mum to close her account and get a new one. and then never leave anything lying around people you hardly know

If your mom really thinks its you she will press charges on you and you'll got to court and you can prove it that it wasn't you after you go to court because they can track the IP Address and if you have a story of where you were that time and place and if you have someone to back you up on it and say that you were where you say were when this happen. Simple, take the hit. Pay your mom back even if it wasn't you, tell her to calm things down you will take responsibility even if you didn't do it. Have her cancel that card if she hasn't already. Then file a lost account with yahoo get that email and xbox live and then use it till it runs out... lmfao.
