Kirito gets on his bike and leaves for the hospital. On his way he encounters Sugou with a knife and he attacks Kirito. Using the skills he learned from SAO, he defeats Sugou and keeps going to the hospital. He grabs a guest pass and finally re-unites with Asuna. It's skips ahead. Now they are both attending the special school for the SAO survivors. There they meet Silica and Lisbeth in the real world. They both watch with jealousy of Kirito and Asuna's relationship. Kirito meets a girl that helped Heathcliff (Kayaba) develop SAO and then they all talk about his death and how he was able to scan his brain and create an after-image. (Keep in mind, the people that were player killers in SAO are under mental care in a special room but also attend the school.)
