Re: Today
There was a report on TV here in the UK especially to show the grief of the victims' families, naming some of the children killed. There was a father who lost a six year old girl and his statement was shown. He said he felt sorry for the killer's family as well as the families of the other
victims. You could tell that he was devastated. Some people are sick.

Depressing world stories, happens all the time. Try to balance it out by reading interesting new discoveries, new technologies, good things that happen etc. My favourite it reading scientific discoveries regularly.

Poor guy, I know you try hard to fit in with the 10 people that post on this forum but I think it's about time that someone let you know that posting pictures with captions on them is for mentally challenged individuals with no opinion of their own. On another note, there sure is a lot of
useless irrelevant information not related to the main post here lol (IE religion).
The thing is if I was trying to fit in I'd agree with all of these people. The pictures are related to the posts about religion. In my opinion they say it best, I'm assuming you never heard the expression a picture is worth a thousand words, with that being said I simply posted five
thousand words in less then 3 seconds(Thank you google!). I'm also assuming you where hoping I'd take what you posted offensives and we could have a nice troll fest.. Which I didn't, in all reality I'm pleased to see some one still starts shit with me. Now to move onto more unrelated topic
posts...
@Ele I'd like to think the last part is true, but rather then the wild west and everyone do what they please and such.. Its more like live like animals and base decisions off instinct.. I mean It would make more sense then how we are all currently living.. We are simply animals that
have gone too far in the evolutionary chain and now we are destroying ourselves.
Now on topic:
How many people here think that the stabbing and the shooting happening on the same day could be connected to a bigger picture/issue? I've heard a lot of theories floating around on how maybe the people figure the world is ending this year anyways so lets help it along.. And also the theory about
how these people where using the same site/forum/socialnetwork and decided they would go through with it on the same day.. I say all that is bullshit, but it would be interesting to hear some theories on it.
Edit:
Now they are tieing james holmes into it... smh these theories kill me..

Firstly not everyone is on religion's side if you actually read the huge paragraphs they all wrote you'd probably grasp what's going on here aka a discussion. Secondly for an argument to happen with me you'd at least need an opinion of your own not one you found on 4chan.
Thirdly I didn't attempt to start anything with you, I'm just helping you look at bit less stupid by making your point with pictures from a message board. ''In all reality I'm pleased to see some one still starts shit with me'', that statement
compliments your stupidity quite well along with those pictures.
Back on topic :
All this news coverage is just taunting the next killer to pull an even bigger massacre next time. "'biggest shooting ever since columbine'' with phrases like that it's just challenging the next killer to outdo himself even further. Look forward to the next massacre.
Never once stated everyone was on the religion side, when I said I'd agree with people it was about the main topic. I was meaning the fact how everyone finds this to be so tragic and sad.. Its really not in my opinion. :\ Its horrible that its getting the news coverage it is/did, but in reality it
shouldn't have any effect on anyone else besides those families and town. ---

We live on a society where we rank actions and try to top them like we're playing a round of black ops 2 on xbox, you can bet your ass the news coverage is like a scoreboard to some of these people or the screen at the end of the match where the total score is tallied. I wonder what

I don't think dying has to be a bad thing
The religious "fanatics" basically think that when you die you go to heaven which is a far better place than the world we live in..
Pain doesn't have to be bad either, in the psychic way it's connected to caring and love, physical pain keeps us from getting ourselves killed and harming our body..
I'm not completely against religion, if that's what you think. People can believe whatever they want to believe. They have their own minds and their own beliefs, as do I. The original poster asked for our thoughts, and that's just how I feel. I've tried praying in the past (when I was at my lowest)
and some higher power didn't come to my rescue. In my opinion, religion is nothing more than a fantasy.
Dying does not have to be a bad thing, no. The process can't exactly be enjoyable though (unless, of course, you die peacefully in your sleep). What is a bad thing, however, is when innocent children who have yet to properly live have their lives stolen from them so soon. It's tragic and it
happens everyday. I'm just saying that if there is a god - which there may be, I can't say there isn't for certain - he/she could've saved those children and those teachers, right? This "god", who is supposedly all-seeing and all-knowing, could have allowed those children to fully experience the
things that any child should in life. There could be a god, sure. But if there is, he/she must be very sick minded to allow innocent people to suffer.
Question: "Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?"
Answer: This is one of the most difficult questions in all of theology. God is eternal, infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, and
omnipotent. Why should human beings (not eternal, infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, or omnipotent) expect to be able to fully understand Godâs ways? The book of Job deals with this issue. God had allowed Satan to do everything he wanted to Job except kill him. What was Jobâs reaction? âThough he
slay me, yet will I hope in himâ (Job 13:15). âThe LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praisedâ (Job 1:21). Job did not understand why God had allowed the things He did, but he knew God was good and therefore continued to trust in Him. Ultimately, that
should be our reaction as well. Why do bad things happen to good people? The biblical answer is there are no âgoodâ people. The Bible makes it abundantly clear that all of
us are tainted by and infected with sin (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8). Romans 3:10-18 could not be clearer about the non-existence of âgoodâ people: âThere is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one
who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed
blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes.â Every human being on this planet deserves to be thrown into hell at this very moment. Every second we spend alive is only by the grace and mercy of God. Even the most terrible
misery we could experience on this planet is merciful compared to what we deserve, eternal hell in the lake of fire.A better question would be âWhy does God allow good things to happen to bad people?âRomans 5:8 declares, âBut God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.â Despite the evil, wicked, sinful
nature of the people of this world, God still loves us. He loved us enough to die to take the penalty for our sins (Romans 6:23). If we receive Jesus Christ as Savior (John 3:16; Romans 10:9), we will be forgiven and promised an eternal home in heaven (Romans 8:1). What we deserve is hell. What we are given is eternal life in heaven if we come to Christ in faith. Yes, sometimes bad things happen to people who seem undeserving of them. But God allows things to happen for His reasons, whether or not we
understand them. Above all, however, we must remember that God is good, just, loving, and merciful. Often things happen to us that we simply cannot understand. However, instead of doubting God's goodness, our reaction should be to trust Him. âTrust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on
your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straightâ (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Oh, wow. That completely changed my opinion. What a stupid sinner I must be.
Just kidding.
Firstly, you're pretty much saying that God allowed Job to be tortured, but that's completely okay because he is God and he is perfect. " He knew God was good"... Really? Because a guy who allows somebody to be tortured, when they have no idea why they're being tortured, does not seem like a
good guy to me. But wait... that doesn't matter because he is God. This is another thing that irks me, moral instinct seems to go out of the window when God is involved. It's like whatever he says is law. I'm pretty sure if God said jump off a cliff, we'd lose at least half of our
population.
Also- wait, you know what? I'm not even going to respond to this. It's late, I'm slightly tired, and it would just be an overall waste of time.
To cut it short, I've read it. I've thought about it. I think it's completely stupid and I could not disagree more. However, if you're satisfied with believing there is a higher power, go ahead. I'm not going to stop you. I can't stress this enough, I am not completely against religion. Everybody
has the right to their own beliefs and opinions and that is entirely okay. ---
Rest in peace. <3

for our sins (Romans 6:23).

Copied from at article. Read it all and think about it. No, I'm not a religious fanatic but I don't like what you guys are saying. I
believe there is a God and a far better place than where we live today.
Oh, wow. That completely changed my opinion. What a stupid sinner I must be.
Just kidding.
Firstly, you're pretty much saying that God allowed Job to be tortured, but that's completely okay because he is God and he is perfect. "He knew God was good"...
Everybody
has the right to their own beliefs and opinions and that is entirely okay.
ay men! +1 lol
i totaly agree, i think believing in a greater power is fucking rediculas . i mean EVERYTHING bad that happends to us is perfectly fine because hes as alaya states god.
people can believe what they want, but i refuse to be the brainwashed half. i don't believe in god, i dont believe in fate i dont believe in the supernatural and i dont believe in heaven or hell. I believe in myself and the decisions i make for my life, NO stupid pray is going to keep me or my
perents alive forever. its not going to stop a man being homeless and cold on the streets for xmas. its not going to stop kids being hungry and getting desiese. as far as im concerned people want to believe in a world other than this one, because this world is going to shit, the rules and laws are
breaking with each passing day. the government im sure are losing control over there ability to run these damned country's.
i believe life is what you make it, everything has a time limit. im pretty sure god did not create cars or the internet and houses. we are the natural cause for hell on earth. unfortunately we all have to live with it
EDIT: also if the bibal describes humanity in such an unfaithful way, then god is therefore disappointed in his SO CALLED creation, and he is magnifying the sun onto us like ants. there is no god. we are the gods, of this earth. its our choice to destroy it with global warming and all our polluting
creations, or nurture it. ---
sometimes I think to myself, how are humans the smartest species on earth when they can also be the
dumbest species.
