Poor guy, I know you try hard to fit in with the 10 people that post on this forum but I think it's about time that someone let you know that posting pictures with captions on them is for mentally challenged individuals with no opinion of their own. On another note, there sure is a lot of useless irrelevant information not related to the main post here lol (IE religion).

Anyway, Haze, it is true. Perhaps not making them their wives, but the "people of God" are told "Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves."

"They attacked Midian just as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men. All five of the Midianite kings - Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba - died in the battle. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho."

"Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. "Why have you let all the women live?" he demanded. "These are the very ones who followed Balaam's advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD's people. Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves."

But then again, I'm just a person, just like whoever committed the acts of violence. I can't say that I'm better than the culprit, or anyone else for that matter.

Blah, i'm not really the religious type. Although, a lot of people throughout history seem to misinterpret the bible.
This is as far as i'll go with this. I'm getting a headache..

Elaya, you quoted an excerpt from the Bible. God isn't necessarily affiliated with the Bible. Just because Christianity may be false doesn't prove that God doesn't exist.

Only "bad" thing I ever heard about God doing is ordering Moses to have Pagans who choose to believe in a Wild Boar while Moses went to get 10 laws separated and killed

I am not a religious person the only reason I'm standing up for religion in this topic is because you can't blame God or Religion for this since they teach people the exact opposite..

I do believe in God but since I am in between the Catholic and Orthodox religions (they actually show god in different way)  I have my own concept about God

Lolwut, i take back what i said before about not continuing..
God is definitely mentioned & affiliated in/with the bible. In fact, The Holy Bible was meant to be a guide on how to live life the right way.

That's not the point I'm making. Stava said "If we were all "religious" in the way that we follow what Bible says we would share love and peace, there wouldn't be people who would do shit like this. If we followed the rules that were pointed out in Bible, doesn't matter if they were written by God or some wise person, world would be a far better place to live in."

I'm not claiming that God doesn't exist. There may very well be a god, I can't say for certain there isn't. But due to scientific arguments, I, personally, do not believe there is.

God is definitely mentioned & affiliated in/with the bible. In fact, The Holy Bible was supposed to be a guide on how to live life the right way.

What I meant was that God doesn't have to be affiliated with the Bible in reality. People who believe in the Bible think he is. I'm just saying that maybe the Bible is false, but there could still be a God - just not the one described by the Bible and Christianity.

Oh, I see your point. Yeah, the Old Testament's pretty fucked up. Probably because it was written by primitive-minded people who were highly influenced by their historical context.

True that, a lot of people out there hardly know themselves now a days, anyone can be a killer underneath just need that push to go ahead and do it. We live in a world where society is too lose morals have been lost, the minds of the young today are filled with more garbage than a dump. It's not surprising that something of this magnitude has happened, in fact it was expected already and bound to happen. It is really sad that it happened to children, that line has been broken and we can expect to see even more heinous acts to happen in the future. I'm sure this has been said countless times before already, but the world we live in is rotting and It won't be long before something even worse happens. Too much freedom of expression, too much poison in the mainstream media. What will be next, a maternity ward? It wouldn't even make my heart budge if it happened really, one needs to expect such things from today's society.
