Forum :: Lounge :: What OS are you using?

Windows Vista on the desktop and Windows 7 for the laptop. Neither of them were my choice as both were given to me for free or as a gift via Christmas. As long as the graphics are pretty decent enough for me to play my MMORPG's, I can't really complain as that is what I do most of the days. Both have served me and my gaming experience well.

Ive been stuck with my xp forever and a day but I havnt liked any os since, vista was junk,7 has to many security measures and other crap I didnt find appealing,8 I was on a vps the other day it seemed better than than vista or 7 but I had alot of trouble setting up programs and the errors I was getting are so new google didnt even have answers.

My xp's gpu is dying running my cpu over  board, so Im sure ill be forced to upgrade soon Ill prolly update to 7!

Windows 7 is where it's at. Plus, you can remove all those bullshit security warnings by going into the control panel.

Windows 7 but im getting a highend windows 8 tablet just because I can have a laptop and it be easily portable. The only thing windows 8 should be on, in my opinion is tablets and touchscreen pcs (barely)

nah, really I'm using windows 7 / debian wheezy.

im using Windows 7 Alienware as for windows 8 you can use some editing software to eliminate the Metro start interface and the derpy log in menu.other than Metro being cumbersome to learn and deal with Windows 8 has some definite upsides
