I just went for the cliche "My older brother did it" excuse easy and simple especially when your teacher points it out in front of your lecture but I said  "I gave it away for charity" that time and everybody laughed with me *phew*. Seems like everyone liked Stava's but it's not exactly the most appropriate thing to tell your teacher.
