| ![]() Just got a few games recently through steam, and apparently my graphics card does not support it. I know the games can run on Intel HD 2000 or higher; however, every time I have tried to change my driver I get negative results. Wondering if I can even change my graphics card or if it is part of the motherboard. Laptop model is: http://us.toshiba.com/computers/laptops/satellite/P750/P755-S5215/ (Model is not the exact same, has less hard drive space) And yes, I tried going to Device Manager, it says it is the latest version. Can link dxdiag if that will help. --- Former multi-server mapper.

| ![]() Legend, troubleshooting does very little for drivers. It was one of the first things I looked at. Doug, got a key to work, you can delete them from your post now. Says there were 23 updates over my entire computer but half of them were useless such as my wireless mouse and keyboard. Will let you know if this works however I highly doubt it will. --- Former multi-server mapper.

| ![]() But in all seriousness, I don't even know if there is a solution. Some of the sites I found said it was built into the motherboard, while others said I can disable and replace it. Normally I am able to solve my own problems like this in a matter of minutes so this is a giant facepalm on my part. --- Former multi-server mapper.

| ![]() Misca posted: (4th Dec 2012, 03:01 am) Depends if you have a slot for it that's why on most laptops you must make sure if it has the slot and if it's a intergrated card or not. That's what killed my laptop it didn't have a slot and the graphics card is built to the motherboard if it is intergrated (and I'm pretty sure that series is.) That's just how most laptops come unless you put extra money into it. (I did find some amd that have a pci express slot) but not many.

Sadly, uninstalling the driver and installing another did not work. Said my computer did not meet the minimum requirements even though it does by a lot <.< Satan, that is what I was wondering earlier if my graphic card is built into the motherboard. And sadly, I don't have a slot for it, I didn't think I would need to upgrade the graphics card at all. --- Former multi-server mapper.

| ![]() Misca posted: (4th Dec 2012, 04:04 am) Yea it's built into the motherboard I've heard of external graphic cards but I'm not technically sure they exist. xD or how they would be installed (prehaps usb or someway?) The ones I've heard about cost as much as a new pc. xD also it could be a glitch in steam (as it wouldn't even let me install it I had to get a workaround.) but my problem was a good bit different it was that it wouldn't download the update so I had to either way for a update or get it from another pc. If it's not installed be warned you wouldn't be the first to have any type of install issue (steam randomly picks on pcs) and on the intel graphics most likely you either have 128mb or 256mb. =3 If it is already installed well then you could try to contact steam. =p (I just now noticed that steam is installed) I can only recommend contacting steam support as they may of changed the requirements. =(
