Might just be your computer. Frustrating, right?

Re: stupid map editors
It's not the Map editor, it's your computer...
Most of the time it crashes when I open anything but Ground and Special on my XP computer, but it works fine on my windows 7 computer.

I find keeping the focus on the editor while it's loading keeps it from crashing on start up.

Re: stupid map editors
It might be your computer, as already said.
On my old computer, when I tried to load the maps that I saved previously as .emf it would crash the map editor.
Try relaunching maps that you dont put the .emf after. Whenever I didn't put the .emf when saving, it would work fine.
Don't know why it is though, seems all my non Win 7 pcs crash when using the map editors.
Updating .Net framework might help, otherwise I am sure there is some program/code running in my newer pcs that isnt in my older ones. ---

That error is connected to your server and SLN configs, change them around, maybe share them?
