Hello eoserv people!

I've been looking into some game reviews and I've noticed quite some attention to the new Nintendo's console, the Wii U. It has been released today and I wanna ask the opinion of everyone here on the console? What do you guys think about it?

In my opinion, I love Nintendo, and I will always love, my whole life I've played Nintendo and I've always loved it. Wii U is a guaranteed purchase in my list.

For more info, go here: http://www.nintendo.com/wiiu

@LegendaryG: You just got informed.

Yes, this console is what I've been waiting for. I skippped the whole Wii scene as it never really appealed to me but the hand held is a must have and I'm sure the game will be incredible.

It looks awesome, but it's probably very expensive - especially because it was just released. I'll have to wait for the price to drop before I'm able to buy it. :p

Actually, Elaya, Nintendo has confirmed that a price drop is improbable for quite a long time. Wii U has 2 packages, the basic set of $299,00 and the Deluxe set of $349,00. Comparing it with PS3, it's much better and much more cheaper.

Definitely not on my list to buy. I have always been a nintendo fan, but when I heard about the wii u over a year ago I thought to myself "Oh great, just a wii remake".

Think about it, Nintendo does very little to change their systems.

Nintendo DS, DSI, DS Lite, DS XL, 3DS, 3DS XL.

Sorry but the only titles that nintendo really has is Mario, Zelda, and other classics, which only have 1 release every 3-4 years (Exception of mario but those games are the same generally).

Have I been a supporter of nintendo up till now? Yes, but now I am no longer. The few titles I actually want to play I can just youtube to see the gameplay rather than just buy an entirely new system just to play 2-3 games.

I'll wait for a used one to be at gamestop, and I wouldn't buy one unless they get a harvest moon title on it. Then again animal parade was eh horrible to me I liked TOT much more.

I love nintendo too but, they haven't changed the graphics and i think the system is just a bit over rated.. the only thing new is the controller... you can still use the old wii controllers and games... there's just a tiny bit more memory and a screen on the controller.

Did you not think of the hundreds of decent RPG's on the nintendo? Exceptionally, the up dated final fantasy series? I didn't think so. Hand held, refurbished, rpg awesomeness'. Yes please.

Check out this list of DS rpg's, they're note worthy and awesome:

Pokemon (various releases)

Shin Megami Tensei (various releases)

Fossil fighters

Solatorobo

Dragon Quest (various releases)

Radiant Historia

Kingdom Hearts (various releases)

Golden sun (various releases)

Rune factory (various releases)

Lufia (various releases)

Final fantasy (various releases)

Dawn of heroes

Monster hunter (various releases)

Monster rauncher

Blue dragon

Spectral force

Ragnorok

Legend of exidia

The list goes on and on.... There will most definitely be a range of new RPG's for the Wii U aswell.

Only recognized 3 titles in the list you posted, and two of them blow imo. And I have been a nintendo player since GBC (Since I was born in 92), but I had went back and bought all the previous systems excluding SNES. Did I say that nintendo didnt publish good games? No, I just said that their most popular games only have several releases per system and then you are basically forced to upgrade.

4 good games.. the "re-released" final fantasy games are shitty and boring.. just like the originals.. sure they where fun at first but ffs so done fighting the same boss and same story lines.

Hand held rpg's... what are you rating them against? They're hand held and on par with PSP, and the Wii U can probably hold up against the PSVita.. I'm only speculating and weighing up what might interest me, and probably others who are reading this post.

Post #169922 Re: Wii U Launch

I usually play Mw3 on the Wii,I liked it mainly for its Originality and basically cause it was different than your average PS3 or Xbox.

Now I am sad to say thats what the Wii-U has turned into, with the same graphics style as the Xbox and the ability to play Blackops 2 and Assasins Creed 3 in a good quality.

If i was to buy this console i would only use it to play Blackops 2 which is not coming out on regular wii and I am not buying a whole new console just to play 1 game.
