Don't do any of the above.

It's okay to remove:
  • Internet explorer toolbar
  • Media go
  • Skype
  • Both PlayStation programs
  • Mozilla Firefox (only if you use a different web browser)
  • Mozilla maintenance service (see above)
  • Windows Live programs
  • WinRar (although you can, I wouldn't recommend removing this because it's very useful)
  • Trojan Remover 6.8.4 (unless you would like to keep it)

It's best not to remove any of the others. Like Cyanide said, you should download CCleaner to keep your computer clean.

Don't do what Doug said if you have any wits about you, completely ignore it. He meant to talk you into destroying your OS. Use CCleaner, Job done.

I suggest instead of cleaning your pc out invest in a external hard drive or get a better internal drive (maybe consider doing some upgrades to your pc) I know it cost money but is defiantly worth it. =) I never looked back once I got my 1tb hd.

This just proves how retarded doug is.. Also I use Advanced System Optimizer myself, it's pretty useful. It can clean the register, scan for spyware, update drivers and it has alot of other features as well. It's not free but you can easily crack it for free like I did.

EDIT: I misread it, you simply want to delete some files.. What i'd do is: Look for the files that you installed recently, most of those aren't really important.

IMO, using programs like that defeats the objective. Since your trying to speed up your computer but adding yet another cpu/ram eating program to the processes  / cache. The only real use of a program such as that is the ability to wipe your cache, and free up memory, which can be achieved by a single program designed for that. I suppose cleaning the registry and temp files can be done with CCleaner, or even Windows Disk Cleanup (built in).. As for malware/virus protection, use KAT.PH for all your downloads and avoid porn? XD
