wish ppl would stop ddosing great servers.

obviously apollo is to big of a person to ddos hiuru and bone clearly had nothing to do with it

This is the original "Skulled" that got IP banned anyways back on topic, i'm only back on this site to see if AU launched, it has can't wait to play it +1 more player added to your server when it gets back on.

can't these skids realize that all their doing is making the players of AO stay in a chatbox/forum waiting for them to stop attacking... it wouldn't cause them to join other servers. As bone said... block UDP traffic... EOSERV isn't using that so why bother... on the other hand... it's not a ddos attack and it's prolly just a dos attack... ddos attacks would do harm to a datacenter and before you'll know it the VPS will terminate your account cause it's doing harm to every system in that center...

Nope,i think it just terminates your account...its not going to harm your computer...Just your ingame data

idk bankhead ddosed me once and it fucked my computer up. (i have a new one now)

i still have the one that got ddosed its always freezing overheating and shutting off...

@Queen not all data centers get affected especially ones that have protection.

You all should know, that firewalls do very little to thwart actual bandwidth based attacks. The traffic still has to get to the firewall for it to block it, hence doing it's job by still using your bandwidth...

Hence "blocking UDP" is ridiculous advice. P.S. If you block all UDP, you no longer give out ping replies.

Correction Software "firewalls" do little you are not being specific enough.

I am mainly talking about hardware firewalls, big expensive equipment to stop/negate/filter/null route ddos attacks.
