@Mouse: It is fact that people tend to hold others accountable for the bad moreso than the good. While EOSource may or may not have moved on from the backdoor incident, it will take some time for the community to learn to accept it again, if ever. If someone has an opinion about it expect it to be voiced if it becomes topic of a forum.  The best practice is to learn the inner-workings of EOSERV and how to modify it. You can always trust your own code if you are skeptical of using someone else's.

I mean no offense to anyone who reads this post.

@Elevations: Just for the record, I wouldn't call my comment in this thread an attack on EOSource or Elevations. Maybe a year ago when there was a viable concern over the author's integrity regarding sketchy hidden feature I would have replied differently. I can tell you have learned a bit and matured a bit over the years and you are cleaning up your rep even moreso, but what you must understand about forums is they are intended to post a subject and receive opinionated responses via replies. Sometimes the comments are negative, and sometimes the comments are positive. I would expect that long time members of this community to be above trolling but sometimes that is not the case. My comment to Mouse was fair and neither pro nor anti EOSource in any way. I would hope in the future you read my comments a bit more carefully before simply assuming I had the intent of merely bashing your reputation.
