WHat is EOsource?

In past posts people said it has a virus.

A product that copies everything EOSERV does, then re-releases it as closed-source to try profit from it.

Profit? And no it doesn't have a virus. It's a closed source EOSERV revision, containing loads of features.

EDIT: It's true that EOSource contained several backdoors in the past, but since version 4.3 or something like that, the last backdoor was removed. I'm kinda sick of backdoors now anyway.

Seems like EOsource made some bad moves in the past, eh?

Not at all. 17 servers online today.

Cute, they even ripped off some XP-style icons to stick on their website after I added some.

It does kind of suck that the site has almost the exact same design, it's disappointing. If they did have backdoors etc to this date, they wouldn't still be using the same name / aliases / accounts. Unless they were really ignorant. That would end bad so I guess they don't anymore. As for copying EOServ, it wouldn't be so bad, as in actually good, if they didn't copy the entire style, throw in backdoors(in the past), and even argue to the point, so obnoxiously that you wanna punch em in the face (no 'internet hard guy intention', it's a figure of speech.)

Oh right.... Elevations kinda owns Eosource so they put it on their list.

Exactly, Although i think it's Hollow and Ele that own it.

So  even Aureus Online uses it. Just checked it out, seems cool , except i feel like something bad is going to happen 0.o

Hollow and Ele don't do anything to Eosource servers. They have a reputation and people would stop using eosource if they tarnished it in anyway. I think they have a backdoor so the two of them get HGM on any Eosource server but i think they have a reason for that.
