Just for the record, EOSERV will work just fine without those maps in place. If you are really anal about it you can copy existing maps and rename them 00080.emf, 00081.emf, etc. I am sure you thought about that while fighting over who is the bigger idiot, right?

It worked but

When opening the eoserv, it says "Redirecting errors to 'error.log' ..."

I opened error document and it says:

Thts it... nothing else. I still don't see my server on the sln

Anyone with common sense should know they can just copy/paste a different map and rename it. But I guess that's what these forums are here for anyways. Pretty sure it will run without the maps in it anyways.

MrBallin, are you 100% sure you port forwarded the port 8078 correctly? (I'm guessing 8078 because that's what it says in the config you posted) If so even without the maps it should show in the first 5 minutes. But sense you are new I will say when I started a server for the first time it took 1 hour for it to put my server on the sln (while running the server) not sure why... but I could be wrong on how that happened. Maps shouldn't effect the outcome of the server being online or offline the server should run even with 0 maps... "Again I don't use EOserv that much so I could be wrong."

Note: if you need help with port forwarding there are some guides/ videos on how to do it which you can find by searching it on the website in the right hand side or on YouTube.com.
Also, try to keep your problems to one post instead of posting multiple posts to, "post bump" that's a reason people got pissed at you.

i would try your ip and port 8078 in the client config and do  NOT use 127.0.0.1 and try connecting to the server.

if you can connect with your ip. your port is working and its something else.

if you can not connect with your ip. then ty the steps again. or like the post above says. get a video or someone to help more hands on."teamview ex."
