I've been playing Warcraft III lately, and I have a problem with this game !

I can't play online, and I don't really wanna since I'm not a good player.. BUT ANYWAY

This game is annoying me to hell !

I like to play with teams, but I can't play with/against insane difficulty since my allies don't do anything against enemy insane (even if they are insanes as well)

I have played 2v2 normal difficulty, and this is what happens in most of my games:

My ally (everything blue) goes and attacks red creep camp with his tier 1 units, loses everything.. Screenshot proof: http://i.imgur.com/ldOsK.jpg

Ally intentionally feeds enemy team by attacking with Hero and 2 units, then runs with units and lets his level 5 hero die (doesn't even fight back).. Screenshot proof: http://i.imgur.com/Bna8G.jpg

He intentionally casts a AOE spell (which hits both enemy and friendly units) ALL OVER MY FKING LOW HP TIER 2 SHIT, proof : http://i.imgur.com/QJe5t.jpg (you can see the blue bloodmage casting a spell at the top of screen)

How the hell does this happen ? Why is my ai playing so much worse than enemy ai's when they're same difficulty.. Hope my badluck made you smile :)

note: I still won that game, 3v1 (since my ally was kinda on enemy side)

Sounds like bad luck to me. I've had warcraft 3 for ages, and back when I played standard games I had a crappy computer and even a medium sized battle would completely freeze my screen (most likely fps issues). Anyways, if I recall my compter allies would usually play fine, but inevitably if I couldn't end fast, my crappy computer (not my ally, my actual computer) would screw me in a major battle since I wouldn't be able to micro. Oddly enough, now that I have a good computer I never did go back and try to master standard games (I probably could, seeing I managed the campaign back when lag was a problem). I usually just end up playing custom games online whenever I boot up my wc3..though I really should try standards again at some point.

Edit: A rare serious post by me, and it doesn't even mention a certain something...savor this moment.

I finally picked it up a couple months ago to give it a shot, I played it a bit at a friends house and that's about it before. I suck, too used to the gameplay in Starcraft to manage the hero and base well. That has probably changed though since I've been playing DOTA 2 a bit. I don't know about your problem though, I only play hard when I play it, mostly only play custom games.

Same with demon, I've played it for years. And as you said, how does the same level of difficulty fuck up so badly? I honestly don't know, normally the CPU enemies are overpowered like hell and they upgrade way too damn fast (Making me spam undead towers just to keep them away till I upgrade).

Not only that, but the resources in each map are so limited that you could take every tree and mine, and use all the resources and they wipe the floor with you.

And at your online comment stava, it depends if you are playing a legit version or a cracked version. Cracked version there is some large website out there, I'll try and find the site for you.

Edit: Go on google and type in "Warcraft 3 Garena", couldn't find the exact site but it is what I was referring to above.

I can beat a insane 1v1 and I can beat 2 normals 2v1..

but I got bored of playing 1v1 and wanna play 3v3,4v4 but this is what happens (and I doubt it's badluck, I think the game has some errors):

really soon after we attacked, I was attacked by Red (which is unusual since usually ai's teleport to help one another), I teleported to my base and nobody else didn't bother helping until my hero died and then green decided to teleport in with his few low hp footmen, http://i.imgur.com/aF2mP.jpg

his hero was killed easily together with the low hp footmen, but then Orange came to aid the enemy http://i.imgur.com/Ladrc.jpg

note: blue did bring in 2 low hp grunts to save my base against 2 full armies of undead

Green has finally decided to come and help enemy team, bringing in his lvl 3 paladin so he can feed them some experience just to make sure I can't win, after seeing that blue noticed the greatness of that idea so he teleported in with his lvl 1 shadow hunter which he was unable to get any higher level on since he was totally useless the entire game..

At this point I've saved myself since I had another base, where I built an army and hero, but then the enemies decided to attack, me and green's footmen and blue's army have survived 3 different enemy attacks (red, pink and orange) but then Yellow has decided to attack my base with his tier 3 units http://i.imgur.com/eVx9K.jpg

WHILE MY TEAMMATE HAS HANDFUL AMOUNT OF ALL MIGHTY TIER 1 UNITS http://i.imgur.com/B0OPT.jpg

But till the end he didn't want to sacrifice his units in order to protect his ally because he was saving up for something more, waiting for the best moment to engage with his tier 1 units against tier 3 enemies

Let's not leave teal looking like an asshole, he actually did help at one point of the game where pink attacked our green guy, though he came at the wrong moment when battle was already over, he did put a lot effort to chase that one grunt left.. http://i.imgur.com/C2Epu.jpg
