Ok so today i was playing the New FIFA 13 (Great Game) but all of a sudden my ps3 decided to turn off i was thinking Great then i go to turn it back on and then i turn it on and after 3 seconds it turns off goes (RED) If any1 can help me fix this ill +18kp them!

unplug all of your.cords from the back of your console for 5 minutes. After that, replug them and then play fifa 13.

I dont think the ps3 is substaining enough of a charge to run successfully... =x

Umm.. i dont know, take a look and your hardware and software on your ps3, and tell me exactly what isnt doing what it's supposed to be doing.

Xbox really isn't much better... they crash all the time too, lol.

Hmm, how long have you had your PS3 for? The battery might have shot or something.

You, my colleague, have the Yellow Light of Death(YLOD). It's a hardware failure where the solders on the motherboard get cracked/melted. You should probably take it in to get it fixed, or a temporary solution would be to melt the solders back to where they are connected.
I'd probably just advise buying a new playstation.

I wouldn't recommend trying to fix the motherboard yourself. The oil from your fingers could damage the parts on the board. 
Either take it in or buy a new ps3.

It's the natural oil that your body produces. The only solution would to wear gloves, but they can get in the way; and you could still damage the motherboard, especially if you don't know what you are doing.
