My moms boyfriend was like "Slow down, watch for deer" as soon as he said that, and I said ok, a deer jumps out behind a tree (Was completely hidden), I had no time to dodge/slow down. =x

I didn't run it over, just pushed it kinda with the van, then it got up quickly and ran off.

 

Amazingly the only damage is a broken left blinker.

Yea should go really slow in 'deer zones' You hit that tank 'speeding' and it will destroy your car and walk away like nothings wrong... Its odd im sure you were like wtf that thing should be dead.. haha.

That is great luck you hit a deer and only broke a headlight. I did the same thing 2 weeks ago! ( Except it was a Curb) my results wern't as pleasing. ;3

And you would have had some free venison and a nice rack above the mantle place if you were on a highway or interstate when it had happened. Regardless, you are lucky you only damaged the light.

I dont think the deer had any fatal wounds, it pretty much was pushed by the van into a running position, and I'm in Michigan, everywheres a deer zone.

Wisconsin, same thing basically. Some cities/towns that I live by have 30+ deer in them, they literally just walk into backyards, eat your plants and walk off.

@Omen: Gotlucky bro. I was driving around with my buddy, and he smacked a deer doing 135 miles an hour in his cougar. Fucking totalled that biotch. I broke my leg, shoulder, and had a concussion. that was a year ago.
