Internet connection issues
Was browsing on google, had multiple tabs open and all of a sudden all of the tabs turned into some french "website not found". Since then, it has taken 15 seconds + to load a page, and I often have to refresh 4-5 times for the page to even load.
Only error I found while trying to navigate for fixes is 502 bad gateway but I doubt that had anything to do with it.
Not just chrome, internet explorer also.
Have full bars for my internet, normally generate pages within .03 secs or less according to google.
If anyone can find a possible solution would greatly appreciate it, I probably wont be able to see any posts on this until 2-3 minutes after someone posts.
Router resets and getting off the internet for a long period of time seemed to fix it. Will +1 those who helped as I said I would.
Error back, read last post. ---

No to both. Reset my history also, didn't do anything.
Also, my connection is not compromised (No connections from other computers in my house or otherwise).
And I would search for an error myself but I can barely navigate on one page. If I click off a domain it causes the errors to appear again. If I stay on the domain my computer is fine (For the most part).

Could you have involuntarily been connected through a very slow proxy server o.o? Check and see what ip the website
requests are being sent to.

Re: Internet connection issues
Yes lol, that is one of the first things I tried. And before you ask, yes I restarted, yes I reset router, connection, etc. I did everything that would make sense.
The problem is it shows I have full connection when I obviously don't. So it is either a virus or an issue with ISP.
Ryuoken, that is what I'm thinking, since the french site popped up on all the tabs and since I got the 502 error, however, I don't see any proxy connections. ---

What do you mean by that, you mean like games/other programs?
If so, no, they are experiencing the same lag.

Sounds like a virus, go get a free scanner/cleaner.
Simple way to find out if its your ISP is go to a different computer in the house and see if it does the same thing... or try and connect to some ones wifi who has a different carrier then you. ---

Running Microsoft Security Essentials, latest update and no errors, rescanned and nothing. I'll check on another computer in a second. ---

Re: Internet connection issues
Checked my other computers, they had the same error so its not a virus. As of now I am marking this resolved --- I reset my router for 10 mins or so rather than 2-3 mins ---, seems to have worked for now, however I will edit this post or bump this thread further if it is not
fixed.
Once I know it is fixed for good I will +1 whoever helped.
Error picked back up again, but I know it is something to do with ISP or router since 3 of my computers are experiencing it. ---

Re: Internet connection issues
Probably your internet is capped. Meaning you hardly have internet data.
^Just my thought.
