| ![]() Well, I just got my PC back from a technician and every 2-3 minutes or so my screen goes black then goes back to normal. Then I get an error that reads: "Nvlddmkm has stopped responding but has been recovered." Any help? This is getting extremely annoying and I'm about to headbutt my PC. --- ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) Why the fuck u lyin'?

| ![]() Just bring your PC back to the company that fixed it, and complain that they didn't fix it properly.
|
| ![]() Thing is, I'm broke now. Took me 300 bucks to fix my PC just to have it corrupted again. So, that's a no-no. --- ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) Why the fuck u lyin'?

| ![]() You have every right to get it fixed for free, if you explain that they fixed it for you but that when you started your PC that it gives an error every 2-3 min. Unless you caused it yourself.

| ![]() I just got it back hollow, how can I mess it up so quickly? Elaya, Trust me, they won't. They don't do free. It's either you pay up front, or gtfo. Edit: No refunds. Since he "Fixed" my PC. >.< --- ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) Why the fuck u lyin'?

| ![]() Palmolein posted: (3rd Sep 2012, 04:50 pm) That isn't so strange is it? If I wanted to I could mess up my PC within 3 minutes. I'm just saying that if you explain that it's their fault then they'll refund it UNLESS you caused the error.
|
| ![]() Have you spoke to them and stated that they have not "fixed it"? I would write them a letter and let them know that they either fix it properly or be taken to court. I'm sure what they have done is an offence. A rip off. They have not provided you with a fixed computer, which is what you paid for. False advertisement. --- Web developer, currently looking for graphic artists / designers.

| ![]() This wasn't the problem they were fixing. I had a different issue, this problem is entirely new. But this is the first time this Nvlddmkm error is happening to me. I don't know what he did but I'm 100% sure he doesn't give a fuck. --- ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) Why the fuck u lyin'?

| ![]() Palmolein posted: (3rd Sep 2012, 04:50 pm) Don't be put off by "No Refunds" signs. "Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 any item you purchase from a retailer should be as described, of a satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. This means that if a product turns out to be
damaged or faulty at the time of sale, or if a fault emerges over time, you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement from the retailer."
If it isn't your fault, you're legally entitled to a refund.

Note that even if you do manage to repair this error, there may be more underlying issues.
