table#recent-actions { display:none; }

This works by forcefully removing the recent-actions, but unfortunately no amount of hacks I try will remove the large empty space. I even tried forcing a height limit on the body /facepalm.

#body has min-height:1060px; set which you can override (that's usually to make room for the sidebar and ad)

Already beat you to it. I remembered the custom template I made before already had that min-height override.

For those interested (re-post & update):

https://tehsausage.com/paste/eoserv-klutz-custom

https://tehsausage.com/paste/eoserv-klutz-custom-no-recent-actions-0a2c

Both are compatible with https://eoserv.net/?enable_compact Compact mode (kind of, page width is a tad large, easily fixed).

Post #162888 Re: eoserv.net compact mode

New smartphones tend to display pages way wider than the display to better fit un-modified websites by default. There's a CSS thing that tells it to behave more like a normal phone, but I can't be bothered digging that up.

That look loads smoother, great job. Much better looking than the blocky format that it somewhat looks like now.

Oh! @Sausage: I just remembered from a while back I found that the footer on the profile page is inside the body tag. Kind of hard to notice.

It's flawed in a bunch of areas though, messy and has !important spammed everywhere because I couldn't be bothered to figure out CSS tag priorities. I can't be arsed to update it.

@Vile: That is lag of some sort. The websites CSS file is loaded before the Stylish custom CSS data is loaded, if your PC or browser is at all slow, you will notice it. I don't notice it at all. I'm sorry but there's nothing you can do about it other than some maintenance for your PC.

Will this mode allow my android browser to post?...

Can't type posts with the OSK or something. I dunno if it's just my tablet.

Not with Javascript enabled. Pretty much every phone browser won't allow you to edit "ContentEditable" stuff, which means you have to write your posts in plain HTML.

Have you tried any alternate browsers? I've never had any problems using Opera Mini.

Sorry to keep jacking this topic but I've updated my original topic and added compact mode support plus tweaked the theme quite a lot: https://eoserv.net/forum/topic/18395#post133197
Would someone be so nice as to bump my topic? XD

On topic: Compact mode does not help at all on my phone, It's actually better without it.
