I am making my own server. Everything works fine, except when I give myself and item or a monster drops an item, no pic shows up, and it says "You picked up  1". Like grey boots. I picked them up, and they took up their regular space in my inventory, but no pic. I equipped them, and they showed up on my sprite, but not on my paperdoll or in my inventory... Please help.

The newer Eoserv revisions have a nasty pub upload bug. ;.; They stop uploading the pubs to the client after a certain amount of bytes. So basically items after a certain id don't show because the data for them doesn't make it to the client.

Any way to fix this? I tried downloading an earlier version of EOServ to see if that would fix it, but the one i downloaded just booted me off the server after password input.

I've been looking into it but haven't found a fix yet. I'm not sure if sausage has tried to fix it yet.

Well, in any case, thank you for the help. While I am here, is there any way to make it so I can type the password instead of doing the arrow key and return process?

That's a client feature. Turn off the softpad in your config file for the client.

At the main post, this is a result of the client getting corrupted pubs.

Thank you wild survival. I replaced the .pub files with fresh untouched ones and it works fine now. As for softpad, I cannot find which .ini contains that option. because my config .ini is apparently broken into server, misc, boards, console, database, extra,files, guilds, limits, npc, rate, and sln: all  .ini   files... I am lost on that one.

This would be in your actual client file, not your server file. It's called "setup" and it is right under "Friends" and "Ignore".

Example being: Endless Online folder < config < setup, and then you just scroll down.
