Forum :: Lounge :: What are you guys doing with your summer?

I'm currently on the Isle of Wight with my family which is just like a little island off of the south coast of england, it's pretty fun, but filled with loads of old people so I'm kinda entertaining myself at the moment but the weather is really poor :( If someone wants to give me something to code like a console game concept (By console I mean command line, not xbox or PS3 or any other variant.) The best thing I've found to entertain myself today is to pull faces at my webcam and make a gif :( 

Bed head is an epic win. But yeah, share what you guys are up to with your summer :)

If money doesn't grow on trees, then why do banks have branches?

That sounds like a pretty decent summer, i for one did nothing big but relax as if this was my senior summer because i go back for senior year, the last Monday of this month. I figure if i relaxed now instead of then i would ether go straight to the Marines or College, Honestly not sure how the rest of the summer will go though.. ? :D

I went to Florida this summer and we left 30 minutes before storm Debby hit. It was pretty awesome tho. I love the tropics. We went to some awesome restraints including Yoder's (was featured on the travel network and one of the top 100 food places in the world) and we also went to a gator farm in the everglades. Fed and even held some aligators.

I just found out I passed my Latin exam, so it's parrrttaaaay time. :D (I'm not flying anywhere this summer due to my cousin disliking the signature on my passport.. :| )

I'm at a paid internship at AVST (telecom company) for the summer. I'm working on development, writing an app in C# for voicemail message migration from some voicemail system into AVST's flagship product CallXpress.

I also went to visit my girlfriend in SoCal (I'm from the Seattle area) for a week in June.

This summer I have been on my bmx a lot and swimming :O. And we are going on vacation next week :p.

This summer I have gone to every waterpark I could think of XD, joined the Navy, and been working a lot :P 

21.6 inches. It's this monitor. I managed to get it for 85 bucks on eBay. It's not huge or anything, but it's a massive upgrade from my old 17" CRT monitor.

Well so far I've just been hanging out with friends, revising for exams, choreographing dances and going to the hospital. I have another hospital appointment tomorrow, then I'm going to dye my hair blue. :p I'm also going camping on the 23rd. :3
