A picture is a expression of some thing you find attractive or like, it doesn't need to express your gender what so ever. I once on Kodyt had ponies as my picture so did others didn't make us "girls" or any less of a man irl.. Its the internet.. Yeah, that's what happens when you assume something without getting the facts. On topic though, I didn't even realize it was dead, I just knew it wasn't being updated on eoserv. This is like one of three of the servers that showed any promise. We needed it too, cause we all know the servers on sln are awful (minus a couple that are just always deserted, due to people wanting easy servers). I don't blame ya since your worried about the ddosers though. The easiest counter to that is not putting it up on sln, and let the ones following the advertisements join/recruit others for ya.

What annoyed me was that even my test server got ddosed when it was on for a few minutes. I guess people took Edenshire as some sort of competition when I was just really trying to let people have a decent server to play.

I use the same pass for random eo servers I'm trying all the time. I only use a different one when I know it's a server I'm going to actually like. At any rate, that sucks. I'm not sure why all the ddosers pile up here, and it sounds like the only way around them is leaving your server off of sln, or spending a ton of money on protection. I'd say try out the first method and if ddosers stop coming, you could potentially just use the advertisements on here/make your own website to get a playerbase. At any rate, don't blame ya if you do stop production. I'll just find a random server, go to arena, and take my disappointment out on them.

You could just kill them all. I guess thats unethical though.
