Before you get to far ahead make sure you save individual parts of the gui(Frame, Pokmon Slot..ect) that way i can put it together as individual objects so each one has its own properties

Lol no worries dude, if you ever saw any of my PSD sources you'd see that EVERYTHING has it's own layer and EVERYTHING is labeled/separated. ;P


Edit: I started it, but now I gotta leave for work. When I get back I'll do some more and post what I got so far.

It's good, but I honestly prefer the bright colours better. Personal preference, I guess. Maybe you could set an option to choose what gui theme you have, though that seems unnecessary. :p

I think you should have multi gui's for the users to switch/use, I've seen a few pokemon games have this option.

Why are you putting a minimize button. The minimize button will/should be available on the top right corner. I can understand the close button to return to main menu but I don't see why they have to bee so big.

Not positive on this yet but the concept is one will take you to the menu the other will window out, and size was just to draw them they will be smaller.

The minimize button you're talking about would only show if you played in windowed mode. I think Nerah has added the minimize button so that you're able to minimize from full-screen mode, too. :)
