my right arrow key just stopped working while i was playing a game. It wont work for anything i try for some reason, it feels and looks okay. it just doesn't work. the rest of my arrow keys do. I was wondering, do i need a new keyboard? or whats wrong? Its a laptop, Dell Inspiron 1545. Keyboard easily replaceable, i saw one for 6 bucks on amazon.com, Does anyone know what to do?

My old mother's notebook happened this, and it doesn't work, but since she doesn't play games on it she really doesn't need it. I don't think you need to buy a new keyboard, take to a technical support and they might help you. If it's needed to buy a new keyboard, then they will tell ya.

Sometimes when dirt gets beneath the keys, they get stuck and stop functioning. Try using a keyboard cleaner ;)

Well something similar happened on my old laptop, when you press the key it hits the button for the key to function, perhaps it's something to do with it not hitting the button, or it could be more of an error where it doesn't read it. Have you took the key off?

Yes, i've snapped the key off and on multiple times throughout the year, not many though. it was just to move a crumb or something.
