so do i just create a regular explorer character? I don't get all of the other storylines like JETT, Cygnus, Aran....etc

When you get to level 120 on a Cygnus Knight, you are given a quest to make an "Ultimate Adventurer," which starts at level 50 automatically and has inherited your Cygnus Knight's signature skill. Your Ultimate Adventurer can get to level 200.

When you make your second job advancement, you can pick the Fighter/Page/Spearman Classes. They branch off.
