So yesterday Kansas City got Google Fiber, 1Gb/s Internet and Television. This is INSANELY fast. Most users have under 10Mb/s.. Although I wouldn't trust this at all, it is a great deal. For $120/month you get 1Gb/s Unlimited Bandwidth internet connection with no caps, Fiber Optic HDTV, A Nexus 7 Tablet (w/ remote app), Bluetooth remote, 2TB Multi-room DVR system, and 1TB Cloud Storage, that's a insane deal. I wouldn't trust it though because it's bad enough google currently controls how I search for everything, they don't need to see what I watch or the websites I visit as well...

What's your take on this? Good idea or Bad idea?

I wouldn't care if they could see what im on, Where i live the BEST internet is 10down 1up with 250gb download. I pay like 35pounds for it and it is pure dog shit i would love to have this kinda of speed!

What other types of bundles do they offer? Other then the one provided in the OP.  It would be better if they included phone like other interent and televison providers; IO and Verizon.. Nowadays people would rather turn to another provider for an all in one deal. Would save them money in the long run..

Damn I just saw the commercial for this, it looks like a really great deal, but I wish they had it in rural areas :(

There's no point for them to support phone. I haven't had a house phone since I was like 8, I'm 18 now. Everyone has cell phones and considering apple develops Android OS, theres no reason for them to offer a phone service as well. They offer a $70 internet only package, and they also offer free 5Mb/s internet.
