That's pretty damn good Custom.

I wouldn't change anything other than SSD to Samsung Series 830, but that's just me.

My rig:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 960T BE @ 3.7GHz (Stock Cooler) (115€/142$)
GPU: ASUS Radeon 6770 1GB GDDR5 @ 880MHz & 1120MHz (120€/148$)
RAM: 2x4GB Corsair Vengence 1600MHz Blue ((45€/56$) 2x4GB kit)
MoBo: Asus M5A78L LE (75€/93$) (Updating to: Asus M5A97 PRO (To have SATAIII/6.0GB support and probably gonna have 2 GPUs, dunno yet.)
Sound Card: Creative SB X-FI Fatal1ty Pro ((100€~/123$~) 'Can't remember how much did this cost back when I bought it.)
PWR Supply: XFX 550W Core Edition (80% bronze) (50€/62$)
System Storage: Samsung Series 830 128GB (SSD) (120€/148$)
Storage: 1TB Samsung F3 (82€/101$), 320GB Western Digital & 320GB Seagate.
Case: Nexus Clodius (50€~/60$~) (Cheap case, to me, it doesn't really matter what does it look like, only air flow should be good.)

Total: 757€/936$ (Note: Euro is getting cheapier day by day against Yeni and USD so it's pretty damn expensive to by any computer parts or anything.)

I would say swap the solid state, the OCZ get slower slower speeds and are less reliable. Also OCZ report peak values instead of true speed values, so when they say its a 400Mb/s Read and 350 Mb/s Write, its really more like 200:150 with 400:350 peak values. My dad has one and my Corsair GT is much faster with consecutive 450:400 read and write speeds. Make sure you have a good case with nice air flow to keep everything cool. I recommend a nVida GPU, they always seem to last longer for me.

My Rig's specs:

CPU - Intel i7-950 @ 4.06 Ghz
GPU - PNY nVidia Gefore GTX 470 in 2 way SLI (x16:x8)
MOBO - Asus Sabertooth x58
RAM - 18GB Patriot Sector 7 Viper II Low Latency Tripple Channel @ 1766 Mhz
PSU - Rosewill 630 Watt w/ 730 Watt MaxO, Single Rail, Non-Modular
SSD - Corsair GT 128GB 6Gb/s Sata III
HDD - 2x 640GB Western Digital Black 6Gb/s (Mirrored), 1TB Seagate Barracuda (Macbook's Time Machine drive)
CPU Cooler - Thermaltake Frio
Case - NZXT Phantom (White w/ Blue LEDs and 63.47 CFM corsair fans)
OS - OS X Lion 10.7.2, Kubuntu 9, Windows 7 Professional N x64, Windows 7 Enterprise x32

Why would you buy anything higher than an i5. Anything past i5 is relatively useless except to cool the fans.

CPU - Intel i5 2500k Sandy Bridge 3.3Ghz
GPU - HIS IceQ X Pro 6850 1GB GDDR5
Mobo - Some really tiny MSI piece of shit I need to upgrade
RAM - 2x4GB DDR3 G.SKILL Sniper Series 1600Mhz
PSU - Rosewill Green Series 630W (it was the cheapest I could find that powered everything lol)
Internal HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RMP 6.0Gb/s SATA
Case - Rosewill GEAR X3 Gaming Mid-size
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Not exactly top of the line, but it gets the job done and I'm happy with how fast everything is.

Because my i7 was before sandybridge, i5s back then weren't much stronger then a Core 2 Quad, which I already had. Also I rip/decode movies, that takes a LOT of system resources, the i7 does it in 12 minutes, my core 2 duo does it in 45 minutes, my server's Xeon Westmere(Quad w/ HT) does it in 20 minutes. The better/faster the processor the quicker it does it. Also rendering 3D is much faster on my i7. I love the i7, my Macbook is an i7 and is much faster then my dad's i5 Macbook. i7s are VERY useful. You really should learn more before you say something is useless.

@Dill - My rig only cost me $1000, first built it without the ssd or the seagate, and only had 6GB ram and 1 GPU, added the others when I found good deals on them ($100 off, etc; 2nd GPU was around $150, SSD was $100, RAM was christmas gift this year, and the Seagate came from a scrap server I got for free on craigslist ). I buy everything from private wholesale.

@Syran - We have the same PSU :P

I would get a thermaltake case. They offer the best thermal dynamics IMHO. I only own a NZXT case because I love the Phantom's look, and I like white tech :P
