Well I don't blame you, Adobe is a giant rip off. First time I used it was in school and then I went and found a keygen like a week later for my own personal computer. There are some sites online where you can get over 80% off but they might not be offering discounts on CS6 yet.

Graphicsgale all the way. It was made specifically with pixel art in mind. There's a slight learning curve, but it's absolutely worth it.
