"Netbook" Lets break it down "Net" assume access to the internet. "Book" small and portable.

Now lets look at "netbooks":

10" in size
3 hour battery life.
Pretty much WiFi access needed.
Slow to the point of the 3 hour battery life will be needed to open one WiKi page.

Netbooks: a good idea that we didn't have the tech needed to actually make them cheap enough.

Seriously, I have a dislike for Apple products but I have more respect for someone with an iPad than a Netbook because it actually does the job it was designed for.

While ranting massively off-topic on my own thread I'll direct you to ATP (click me). The only bit of hardware that has ever come close to being what a Netbook should be. (Yeah, I actually own one)

OK lets never speak of netbooks again and only talk about Kalandra XD

I use to have a netbook just for on the road, but it broke in less than a month after purchasing it. Now it is sitting in the corner of my room gathering dust.

Since it's not really a netbook...I got me one of these to complement my desktop. I use it for remote sessions (to my desktop), email, and other crap. The keyboard, usb ports, and sd slot are nice to have with the tablet.

Kalandra looks fantastic. Thank God it isn't related to EO, we really needed some originality around here :P

I was against tablets at one point. They just all seemed similar to Apple products to me. But I got an Android Tablet and this thing is pretty neat. Handy web apps like Browser, EMail, EBuddy, IRC, and I can even run console emulators (God forbid the N64 is slow, but PSX is what I really care about).

Back on topic, eww for thinking everyone else cares to upgrade to make their shit look pretty.

Back on topic again, small focus bug when chatting without being on the first tab. No disconnection detection. But ok decent I suppose.

I was going to ask about systems sort-of like minecraft where the graphics can have high resoultions and then be downsampled(?) so that it's still the same size on your screen as before but it looks much more high definition. Is that possible here? (I'm honestly not sure how it works so I don't know if it's a dumb question) I was just thinking of your system where you can pixel anything if its dimensions have a factor of 32 or w/e and it made me think of that but kinda..opposite I guess?

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet or not, but I REALLY liked the "Auction House" For buying and selling such as the one on EOR, or plenty of other great MMOs.

Lol I slacked again.. Sorry for the lack of Sunday update. I have working mobs and NPCs but I also just got a brand new Canon 1D MkIII so I'm pretty distracted =D I still have no proper combat system yet though. I plan on adding the "wand" style spell casting this week now I have things to use it on. Expect the upload mid week-ish

Yeah, soz, Still slacking.. I really will *try* and spend tomorrow morning getting this release ready but we're entering the Perseid meteor shower and I have a brand new 1D, now fitted with a 50mm F1.2 L lens and the weather report says clear skys so I'm pretty distracted. (and extremely excited!)
