Haha, I have alot of friends that go to rock concerts actually. They are only 15 as well. I myself, don't go.

I listen to alot of stuff. Mainly a variety of metal. Bands like 3 days grace, Slipknot, Static-x, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Tool, Mudvayne, Five Finger Death Punch, Staind, Secret Circle, Skillet, etc. Sometimes I listen to Eminem, Dr. Dre, I.T., The Game. A little bit of dubstep thrown in there somewhere as well.

Oh, man. Sick mix.

I go to most of the house parties where i live. (Miami)

As for concerts, i've only been to about 7 concerts my whole life. (Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Skrillex, Doctor P, Flux Pavillion, Odd Future & Drake)

EDIT: Almost forgot. I listen to a little bit of everything. Most of the time i'm listening to rap & dubstep though.

Live music is great. It can totally change your perspective on an artist. I went to a Wale / K'Naan concert a while ago, and I don't even really like rap. But, the concert was amazing. Seeing a band live is totally different than listening to them in studio. Take The Greatful Dead for example. When listening to their music they recorded in a studio, you may not like them very much. But, if you listen to them live, everything changes. It might just be the atmosphere of being there that makes it better.

Take this for example also. Listen to the song The Ghost of Tom Joad by Rage Against the Machine. Now, listen to the live version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLFLrTnue9s . (Or just listen to the live version). The whole feel of the song changes, which makes it absolutely magnificent.

My favorite band is Modest Mouse. Nobody can top their lyrical content and instrumentals in my opinion. Other than that, I listen to mainly less mainstream artists. MGMT, Asher Roth, Rage Against the Machine, Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins, The Strokes, Sublime, Ugly Casanova, Vampire Weekend, Wolfmother, Arctic Monkeys, Awolnation, Black Keys, Broken Bells, Foster the People, and Jane's Addiction. Could have missed a few, I can't remember them all off the top of my head.

I've never been to a concert in my life. :p

As for music, I listen to a lot. Mostly rock. My favourite bands would have to be Linkin Park (not their newer music), Three Days Grace, 30 Seconds to Mars, My Chemical Romance, Green Day and Breaking Benjamin.

Wish you were Here was one of the first songs I learned on my guitar. It's real good. My favorite song by them though is either Mother or Welcome to the Machine.
