well last time I played your server I for one really enjoyed it. i dont know why people wont give it a chance...

hmmm i see people want a challenging but not time taking balanced server

Challenges will always take time. A better alternative is to make it seem less time consuming. Making it where they won't have to stay doing one thing for too long but not progress too quickly.

I think the absolute best charm is what made EO what it is, 5-15 minute waits between a boss and its underlings spawn to attack you. Sitting around making friends during the wait, listening to the life-dramas of others, and then being king of the hill after getting the last hit to win the exp and item drop all while everyone else is calling you a fag because they are sore losers. That is EO, and it is very easy to forget what being a player was like while you are an admin. Make your game time consuming. Lower exp and drops and make difficult or boss NPC's require teamwork to defeat them. You don't need much more than that plus a vanilla EO client to make a fun server. I would recommend learning how to do that much before going all out and creating a custom gfx client. Everyone seems to be so focused on adding usable content that they forget the importance of simply making the game fun.

Yes, I always wonder why servers don't use the tools given to them. They seem to focus more on useless things like mining and fishing rather than making their maps more appealing or balancing the stats and exp of the game.

Oh i fucking hate fishing and mining crappy hardcoded shiz......

First of all id like a server with a nice competitive atmosphere, BALANCED EXP(this is wat everyone is asking for), Balanced gold , NO IMBA AOE.....

Nice admins that will actually TALK to you help you and listen to any of your suggestions / reports

Thats how my server was T_T and it had 0 players. I always helped the people individually and was under a lot of stress trying to pay attention to every player but I pulled it off. And I spent days balancing the classes out and months making the maps and all the rest. I even added new stuff every day even after i started getting a regular of 0 players. They just all ran off the the super easy servers. ;.; I eventually took it down. I still work on it now and then even though its not up.

Much respect brother. I absolutely loved your intro quest. I'd love to see more servers pull off this type of smooth intro. It really gets you pumped/excited about starting an adventure. Never forget, ROBOT JAIL.

Ryouken is ur server that server what the intro is just a quest and there is this like mini city on the ground and u stand on the boat and stuff that was awesome! but i got bored after a while
