Now I'm pretty sure I don't know what this "drop" you people keep talking about is. XD I assume by "drop" you mean "drop any kind of musicality and insult peoples senses with harsh pink and white noises until their synapses dissolve into a kind of dubstep induced soup".

To me, dubstep sounds like some simplistic, machine generated, fractalized sound, easily scored and audibly generated on a desktop from the dark ages of synthesizers. 

Yeah, I'll never get dubstep simply because I've always seen music as an art-form; crafted by talented composers with an understanding of the mathematical grace that oozes from the synergy of the perfect combination of rhythm and harmony.
