I don't really know the differences but it gets the updates, you can play multiplayer, single player, change the texture packs, add mods, etc.
It's pretty much a "cracked' version of minecraft. Btw, i forgot to tell you that you can play online but, some server's don't allow cracked versions to play.

i have this mine craft crack which can update, accept mods, can accept skin, . . .ect and go on servers if they allow crack

You can only play online with an unofficial minecraft if the server owner has it setup to allow it. You just need to enter fake login information and then when it comes back as invalid information you can just click Play Offline and then join a server that allows it. Be warned that most don't allow unofficial accounts as it is harder to ban them ect,
