WoW fail.
this is a little random, but about a year ago i wanted World of Warcraft. and i got all of the ones that were out at the time. so i had to do something with my account for it to work, and when i was messing around and tried to do it i managed to change my account to a 1 week trial,
and couldn't change it back. so about $150 down the drain. Never tried to get it again.
So, anyway, has anyone else failed epicly like that?.

Electric, I think what you did is actually add another trial to your account. There is no way to convert a paid-for account to a trial.
Also, the trial is no longer one week, it's permanent, you just can't level past 20.

WoW is not worth your money. I know games that are free or cost less that have a way better character customization and gameplay.

Re: WoW fail.
Games that are free or cost less also usually rely on micro-transactions to pay for their hosting, and these games will sell you the best whatever for real money, whereas in WoW that does not happen. Your argument is invalid.

Re: WoW fail.
I have played many MMORPG games including world of warcraft. and WoW bores really fast. but that's my opinion. It would have been a better game if it was for free. And as you say: They sell very good stuff for real money, but even if you don't buy it, it's still alot of fun + you will still be
able to get good items.

Re: WoW fail.
I agree that it would be more appealing if it was free. I enjoy it as it is though. Other games like RIFT and SWTOR never really interested me because I've already done the leveling and all that in WoW, so why bother moving to a new one IMO. I've already spent the money and enjoy what I spent it
on, so I see no point in moving to another MMO.

this was before you could get to level 20 for free.
Edit: plus, i'm not interested in WoW anymore anyway. in 2 years when i get a new gaming laptop, i'l get Diablo 3. looks awesome.

Re: WoW fail.
If you like dungeon crawlers then you'll like D3. I did the annual pass from Blizzard so I got it for free, but I don't really care for it too much. I played through all of normal to see the storyline and I never really did anything more than that.

Re: WoW fail.
There's a downside to being a free game. More money equals more funding. More funding is more efficient, better gameplay. I have played WoW, 5 85s and I am waiting for Mists of pandara to come out to renew my subscription. Only thing I will dislike about it is the gay ass pandas. I have played
SWTOR because I have played and beaten each of the KOTOR games and they were amazing. I beat KOTOR 2 at least 7 times. SWTOR also keeps that story element. It has character cutscenes and all of those goodies.
Ontopic: lol, yeah you added an account onto yours.

Pretty sure that was the beta, not the official release. ---

Re: WoW fail.
MoP beta has been out for a while, I've tried it and the new graphic and lighting systems are amazing.
Also, I've been wanting Pandaren in the game for yours, and I'm pretty excited to be able to play as one. Really happy that Chen Stormstout is finally making an official appearance in a Blizzard game again.

Re: WoW fail.
Oh wow, It released? I havnt seen trailers, disks, or anything commercialized about it. The site also isnt updated to a mist of pandaren theme? It still shows the old Cataclysm theme, even though they already have the MoP website already made.
No, its still in beta. The official launch hasnt be released yet. There isnt even a ETA on it. Just somewhere in 2012.

Re: WoW fail.
They started testing raids this weekend on the beta, and a few days ago someone from quality control leaked the box art that they have been mass producing, so I'm beginning to think launch may be a lot sooner than I've been expecting.
