Forum :: Lounge :: Very dramatic life problem.

I know this is not what the forum is used for, and I made a new account so people won't bother me on my actual forums about about this post.

I am a new father, my girlfriend gave birth 6/18/12, 12:28AM. I was there shortly after to see her, and there were no problems. But the next day after being exposed to a lot of unneeded stress brought upon by my side of the family, I started an argument between me and her that did not end well because of me. Her parents later went through her text convo with me, and texted me through her cell phone calling me an ass hole and to never talk like that to her again. Where I then, being my immature self, argued back that they too were at fault for a majority of her problems, not having to do with the pregnancy. Then they replied saying that they would be taking my family to court and that if I ever tried to contact her again, they would have me charged for harassment. I have wrote up an apology text for her parents, but I'm wondering if it is the best idea to try to contact them after what they just said. Me and my girlfriend still love each other very much and don't want to become separated. I take full blame for the argument and causing her problems, and I understand that her parents will probably never forgive me, but I don't want this to be the end of our relationship, right after the baby is born!

If anyone has any advice please post...

you have to find a way to talk to her directly without her parents knowing that.

remind her of the happy time you have had with her..

i am sure if she still loves you , she will forgive you.

forgive and forget is my advice. if you realize you were at fault then the best think would be to talk with her parents upfront... no letters.

then you, being the minor, could potentially cause trouble for her, if that was what you wished

they wont be taking you to court thats their little white lie id i read correctly ur girlfriend is 19 and ur 17 and you guys have a kid. then she would end up being charged for rape. so they wouldnt take you to court unless you were 18. There comes a time in life when you need to man up and be the bigger person. and that time is now. go apologize face to face with the parents and try to work things out if that doesnt work at least you tried since i dont know the fullstory thats my advice

Her parents can't stop you seen her all they can do is try and stir things up between you and your girlfriend, Your best bet is to bite your tounge and grovel to her parents. If your girlfriend wanted you to stop seen your child she'd be able to but you would be able to arrange supervised visits but that isn't the case so you just need to solve your problems with her parents, Im sure they'll understand that you love there daughter
