I didn't really know where to post this but like everyday some newb comes on and is like "TAKE YOUR SERVER OFFLINE OR I WILL DDOS THE SHIT OUT OF U" And im like fuck no (Perma Ban) And then i get the shit DDoSed out of me knocking me offline for like 5hrs so can someone help me? I'll do anything but pay money for a DDoS protection system thing XD

I can't imagine anyone really going to the trouble of DDOS'ing a very small server. It may just be port flooding. Open a command window and type netstat -n. If you see one IP address that appears multiple times (like more than 10) firewall it.

Ya ok she said she was using a Proxy tho ._. and Plasma uhm it doesn't matter how good your internet is im sure if u get DDoSed then u can be Knocked offline :I
