I like chrome but not how they use a separate process for each tab/extension.
Hasn't Chrome always done this? Personally I think this is one of the best points of Chrome. Nothing worse than IE or Firefox loosing all your open tabs just because one open tab managed to screw them.
Yeah, gets annoying when I have to end a process tho. Playing the guessing game to shut the right one then blam, wrong one closed. I guess it is handy for some things also. ---

So how is a single process any better? You loose all your tabs when you end the browser process.
If you want to know what each tabs process ID is in chrome (so you can end the correct one with the task manager) then simply open a new tab and type: about:memory into the address bar. Simples.

Or use the task manager that comes built into the chrome tools :P

Re: Internet Exlporer 9
Honestly, I use IE 9 over Firefox. FF has never worked for me and IE9 beat it when I did benchmark tests because I was bored at work. A good portion of web users use IE 8 or less, because it's still the default on win7 for some reason, so I try to design for compatibility in that regard. I still
prefer chrome to any other browser though - it's easily the fastest. And none of them suck nearly as badly as Safari. ---
