Internet Exlporer 9
Well, all my friends at school have been telling me to download the new IE9. I've seen the commercials for it and it does sound and look cool.
I am currently on it right now, and I must say that it does load pages and download items and a pretty incredible speed.
What are your guys thoughts on it?
Would you stick to your current browser? ---

I have to take Haze's side on this. Firefox has always been the greatest in my experience, with Opera following.

Internet explorer is laggy in my experience (even on my gaming machine it just seems sooo slow.) it doesn't feel user friendly at all. So I use firefox (of course it takes a little more ram) But I mean my machine has over 8gbs of ram. (so it isn't a big deal) firefox works wonderfully.

Re: Internet Exlporer 9
IE uses dubstep to make the product seem a lot cooler than it is xD.. Fact of the matter is, IE <8 uses horrible styling syntax so making any website compatable with it is a pain in the ass, yes IE 9 has taken the hint and now uses webkit which is always a bonus. But still writing websites
for IE is a pain in the ass, so because of my annoyance with that for the past year/2years now, I'm going to be bias here and say that I hate it. It's really not user friendly at all, for example chrome uses an "extensions" interface to show you what addons and toolbars you have installed and from
that one interface it's amazingly easy to change anything about your browser experience. In the past IE has been impossible to change or remove toolbars or whatever. I just really don't like it. I use firefox in linux because the things you can do with it in linux are incredible. In windoze, I use
Chrome 4 lyf. ---

IE9 is pretty old actually. Its been out for a year or 2. They just started advertising it. The only reason its "cool" is because they just now got a little bit of the html5 standard that every browser has had for a while. IE9 is a static rock compared to other browsers speed.

I had IE8 and loading pages took a few seconds but with Firefox it's instant. So i haven't even looked at getting IE9 and with these comments im going to stay well away from it

Re: Internet Exlporer 9
I use to be a die hard fan of Firefox. Now this is the only computer I use it on.. All my other computers (mainly laptops, netbooks) have chrome installed. I'd never touch IE. It's always been a bloated, slow, a pain in the arse and gateway for malicious software. Firefox is getting the bloat
too. It's simply not as elegant as Chrome. The only reason I still use it on this computer is I'm too lazy to move all my bookmarks/saved passwords over =P

I like chrome but not how they use a separate process for each tab/extension.

I use chrome mainly too. I just thought I would give IE a shot real quick. Seeing as the only time I have ever used IE is to download a better browser. ---

Hasn't Chrome always done this? Personally I think this is one of the best points of Chrome. Nothing worse than IE or Firefox loosing all your open tabs just because one open tab managed to screw them.
