  Hello everyone it's been a while since I've been on here, but I thought I'd let everyone know that Exiles EO client has been released and it can be found at his site by clicking here http://www.exile-studios.com . It's actually pretty amazing, He deserves a lot of credit for this. Anyhow, everyone head over there and check it out!

It's not really a server, it's honestly his own MMO, but it's based off of EO. You'll need the actual client to use it properly. That's why I gave you his site URL.

Yes, just unzip and create an account. Account creation takes like 2 seconds, which is nice also.

Lol, this was kinda unnecessary since theres already the official thread for it xD But we appreciate the gesture :P

Just a note to everyone who tries it, the client is still in the extreme basics right now. Please dont complain about lack of gameplayability or such.

However, if you find any bugs you wish to report please do so at our forum.

It is nice for the very first release but it is pretty basic.

All character rendering looks done, login, account creation, chat, stat tab, and basic interactions like npc fights and warps.

Im guessing that he wont release the source. From what hes told me, hes got an "unofficial" offer to turn the client into its own full scale mmo.

What the hell are you talking about? Theres been no 'offer' for anything xD
The source will not be released. This client is going to be used solely as the game client for a standalone MMO loosely based off EO and the eoserv emulator.

Thats what Exile told me XD. Ask him about it.

I talk to exile every day... lol.
The client was originally intended to be an open source project for Eoserv to use. But then we decided it could be used as a replacement for ES Eobot# and made into a complete botting client for EO.
That idea was then scrapped when exile stopped giving a shit about EO and it was eventually decided that the client would be used for making our own standalone MMO based off eoserv as the server base.
Pretty sure there was never any 'unofficial offer' to make it into an MMO o_O
