I never played a pokemon game before, or even watch a full episode of pokemon. As a kid I always watched dragon ball z and inyuasha, I was never into pokemon.

Same :D I love Dragonball Z. I havnt watched inuyasha in a while though. I always watched it on adult swim, that and i think its called YuYu Hukasho.

Really depends on when did you grow up if you grew up with the shitty remakes then it makes sense I wouldn't like it either. As a kid I remember Pokemon games being a big hit then later on turning into shows now seeing the new generations with Jessie and James badasses just ruins it for me.
