So how do we exactly "earn" karma points?
jus by posting and being active?
" You now receive a small number of "karma points" per day, depending on how many posts you've made, how many ratings you've given, and how often you visit (at least daily is the best). " ---

Hard to understand what you are talking about sausage. You said you reduced points of those who had high + numbers. " Some people who have a huge number of ratings may find they get almost no points" If I am reading the top
50 players correctly there are a few people still above 400 rating so why do they get to keep their ratings? ---

Re: Post rating changes
''I've also deleted a bunch of ratings from some sad people who rated themselves up on alt accounts. I won't name them to save them the shame.''- those are the people who lost the karma points.
Sausage is refferring to that people with the high karma points obtained (KP) will grow less as there points expand.
But yeah, I got really confused too with it before until I read more into it >_<

What you even just said confused me a little bit. What I think he means is the more positive ratings you get, the less Karma Points you get to rate people with?

" Some people who have a huge number of ratings may find they get almost no points" If I am reading the top50 players correctly there are a few people still above 400 rating so why do they get to keep their ratings? Because they didn't use their own alts to spam +1s on themselves. I never said I reduced the ratings of all people with high ratings ("ratings" and "points" are two different things). What I meant to say with that sentence is people who have already given 1000 ratings and only have 100 posts, will get way less points per day than someone who has only given 10 ratings and has 100 posts, not that people who have received a lot of ratings will receive any more/less (but an imbalance of positive or negative ratings does affect it in positive and negative ways =P). Also, There seems to be some kind of problem with giving out the right amount at login, as I don't seem to be able to get more than 1 every time I log in. Edit: - The quotes sentence in the OP of this topic was fixed to say what I actually meant.
- People who have given out 1000s of ratings in the past are only at as much of a disadvantage of a new account now (this was kind of unfair).
- Looking in to the number of points given on login. It should be much higher.

Re: Post rating changes
We should be able to see how many ratings we've given so we could figure out the ratio.
