Well, I'm quitting EO. I should have listened to idiots like Blargz months ago. This game is dead, there's 100 people active daily.
It's just a waste of my time. Instead of wasting countless hours on EO, I'm reverting all my attention to programming. EO won't take me anywhere in life, butProgramming will. For those who were waiting for the release of PSEObot, I'm sad to announce the development of it has stopped. I'm ending everything that has to do with EO.

I'm going to BCIT now (British Columbia Institute of Technology) I'm studying computer programming. Sadly it's for Java + multiple other languages (not includingany C languages) I'll be pouring all my attention into Java, and hopefully this will take me somewhere in life.

I wish you all the best of luck, I'll sign in from time to time, I'll check these forums from time to time.
Joe, Routy-poo, App, Terr, orcface/steam, Razzle - Special thanks to all you guys for being friends, and not complete assholes like everyone else, I hope we keepin contact.
Please feel free to add me on msn - pickupstixx@pbot.org

Take care,
Stixx.

(this was originally meant for rakuahana, but I thought I'd post it here too)

Yeah, Like I said. I'll still check up from time to time, but I won't be so intent on it anymore.

You rarely post so there won't be much of a difference. Post some of your java stuff on the Programming Section though, i would love to see that.

If I can get time to get on eoserv while at school, I'll be sure to post some projects. Most of my big projects are on the colleges computers , nothing on my home computer is worth is posting, all I really have on this computer is a few little Runescape scripts, and some browser Apps. (nothing to big)

Programming for EOSERV or any project EO related is not negative. For me, it gave me purpose to program, and otherwise I would have not made that program at all. Motivation to program something is a major factor in programming, otherwise most people would not even bother making it without it having some purpose. If you think EOSERV is too easy to program in(by that I mean, you understand ever component of it and want to move on), then sure, that's fine, but I doubt you are at that point. So if I were you, I would educate myself on sockets, quest system, packets, etc in EOSERV. It's your call, just a little bit of advice. Yes, there's only 100 players, but big deal. If you're programming, you're building your skills up. If you're just sitting and playing EO private servers, then yes, that's a waste

What I'm saying is, I'm going to a University for Java , So c++ really doesn't interest me anymore.
So, I'm not focusing in on EOSERV at all.

Java and C++ are fairly similar, take it from someone that actually learned it in school.

Yeah I know, I started seeing the similarities after the first day. My little knowledge of c++ is actually helping me quite a bit with java.
