What's the big deal of giving out the link to the client? Maybe he wants to play main. EOSERV can't get sued for that, unless they were asking for it to use in their server or in their game.

Doesn't matter what you think, it's the forum rules, and if you don't follow them then you can risk being banned.

Read the bottom of the website, vult still owns the copyright, so it can only be distributed legally through the endless site.

Might want to go read Endless-onlines ToS not just ours it clearly says on the EO website and I quote, " You may NOT upload the software to a freeware or shareware site without first receiving written permission from EndlessOnline."

So if you do upload the software/distribute it through a freeware site you are technically breaking the terms of service.

I still say the best way to play EO at school like I used to do when I was younger was install it on a cd/flashdrive an just play it straight from there. lolol

Seriously. Ive played this game for like 6 years and i get its addicting but don't let it take over your school life you will get screwed. Anyway even if you manage to get it onto the school computer good luck with playing through the schools internet the IP addresses usually get blocked asap or don't even connect at all. But if your doing it for maybe map editing or pixeling or even coding sometimes yeah get all the files on a flash drive and take it in, that'd be your best bet.

I don't know what school you've tried playing Endless on but I have never had the IP addresses blocked, the fact is as long as your not seen nothing will happen. The programs schools use don't block basic ip address they block sites that fall under certain categories they usually just block off keywords..

If your using fortiguard, direct links still work I think. Have you tried uploading the zip to a Dropbox account/ flash drive?

It must only be my school then, because when i tried playing it on regular eo servers AND custom one i've never been able to connect even though the IP addresses were entered correctly.

I would never play Endless at school, most people laugh at the "nerds" that play runescape there none of my friends know I play MMO's/MMORPGS at all I find it kind of embarassing and they would never let me live it down if they figured out. So I guess I'm a "closet-gamer" at heart.

Kinda sad if you ask me, hiding some thing you enjoy because your so called "friends" would laugh at you sounds like some grade A friends to me. At my old school the tech support kids set up Unreal on all our computers I mean every computer it was a week before school ended we all just skipped class an played UR including the jokes... shit was fun we had the hole school vs each other.
