Lol the title says it all really. I can guarantee the most populated answer will be "my friend showed it to me" because let's face it. That's how most MMORPG or RPG are found xD I only wanted to post this topic because I felt that maybe this isn't how most people here came across it. Maybe people actually found it on their own, or the never played the old main, and only the new one, including the private servers. That's all I wanted to know xD

How I came across it?

My friends showed it to me somewhat about 6-7 years ago XD Never stopped playing since.

My friend had friends coming over and I was there and saw her playing it so I asked if I could give it a try and that was about 4-5 years ago and well I stuck to it :)

I found it in the list of mmorpg.com site. I clicked on one or 2 more before 100% randomly click on Endless. I liked the screenshoot and thats it. Then i told to 2-3 friends... I log in game for first time about at 2008 so i am new guy to that eo story. I choose most of the games i play randomly and endless was one of these.

Ummm omg ok started playing in 2004.

Found it by googling something like "free mmorpg games" and Eo was on the top 100 list on some site

Lol I remember starting main then trying so hard to get a baru then a private server came on I had no idea how I joined it cause I didn't know how to change the port etc xD well anyways I remembered login onto the server and the admin gave me a baru and a scav I was like OMG xD :P I love EO xD

Lol same, except for the fact that I invited my little cousin later on. Played this around 2006 or something, no clue. Had no clue on how to hit a crow either.. untill I figured I had to use CTRL, dropped a crow claw. Damn.. I was a boss back then..

I wanted to try a simple MMO.. and it contained guitars so i was wondering how it may work. It was in January 2008.. The population was around 1,2 k on the online list.

Abuseme I can't agree with you there I was playing main then and I never saw it go even near 1k it went up to 500-600 players max

Lol I cant believe that so far, I'm the longest player :S I'm shocked xD I thought everyone played longer than me.. Damn... ^^
