There's a thing in my country (Ireland) called Shave or Dye, where, you either Shave your head, or Dye your hair an abnormal color, all for Cancer. I wasn't sure if it was spread through the world or not,that'swhy I made the topic in hope of bringing it to you guys. Here's a few pictures:

One Of The Propaganda (Ignore the 2011 on the poster; It was also on last year, but continued this year.)

Basically, what the thing is, is that you due your hair a specific color of the charity or cancer, so say for example, Dye your hair pink for breast cancer. Shaving your head is quite simple, you just shave ittorepresent chemo therapy. The main idea in this is to show that you are supportingpeople with Cancer all the way, and the shaving part is to make them feel less alone.

I hope that you guys will take this on as a challenge (Challenge Accepted, lol?) and do it in support of cancer across the globe) (:

Shaving your head or dying it wont support it. Giving donations of money will. The only thing this will do is get people to laugh at you.

Why would you laugh at someone doing the same as you? That's just hypocritical. The money used to buy the dye(the most common one than shaving) is put towards the cancer society. I go j to town every day and it's almost impossible to NOT see someone with pink/blue/green/purple hair. It's amazing..

I didn't know you buy special dye from a place where the money goes to research for cancer, that changes my reply completely. I thought you just go to walmart or where ever and the money doesn't go any where. Then yeah I would dye my hair too and if people laughed I would say the money went towards cancer research.
