Before you read this: Idgaf if you -1 my post or w/e, seeing as this is what I believe in and I will stick to that.

I bet that at least 70% of the people supporting "Kony 2012" won't be able to even localize Uganda if I give them an African map. My point of view is, unless you're going down to Africa yourself to "stop" Joseph Kony, you aren't really doing much. I know there's a 30$ kit and stuff, but come on,it's not like it's gonna help that much with his "capture". He's like the African Osama bin Laden. What will "making him visible" do? Normal people (a.k.a everyone involved in the Kony 2012 movement) can't do much. Unless you're willing to use AK-47s and RPGs and all that weapon shit, you can't doshit. The guy has more than a thousand black African dudes (not being racist but they're probably buffer than all of you) with machine guns and tanks and other junk. The US government already knows about it. I'm sure the Ugandan government also knows about it. Leave it to the government. Leave itto the group. You can't do much except donate 30$ to buy some kit with T-shirts and stuff. What's the point of this movement? To get people  I (and most of you) really can't do anything seeing as I can't donate or whatever, nor go down to Africa and go Rambo on his ass, so I just sit at homeand do my shit.

Actually I think Kony is down to roughly 100 or so men now, and he is not even in Uganda anymore lol. The Uganda people said he left in 2006 rofl. Like they said, if America wanted him captured we would have captured him when he was in Uganda. He is now thought to be in Southern Sudan or Central African area which is not even in Uganda. That is what 300-1,000 miles away? Could be further.

Our troops were sent there for political reasons. I could think of many reasons why we should help the Uganda army, and many more why we should not.

Please explain to me why Digitx gets -4 for this post:

It's thinking like this that makes the united states look like a bunch of selfish assholes. It's disgusting that a majority of people believe we shouldn't try to help lesser countires, because what? They have less money? Every person in this world is equal, everyone should be allowed to livefreely, and without fear. A great majority of this world still lives in fear, fear that some day their leaders could arrest, and possible kill them.

While Kody posts images making fun of the act, and he gets +1'd? How fucking sick are you people?

Just another example on why the rating system needs to return to how it was, with only admins +1-2ing and -1,2ing.

On the topic:

I agree that Kony needs to be stopped, but I don't think that the U.S. should intervene that much. Maybe try to capture the asshole, and if that fails then put it on hold for awhile, until as Haze posted, we fix some of our own issues.

Kony's already been pretty much stopped, he lives in the Congo and hasn't fucked with Uganda in years. The Ugandan army finally beat his ass back into the bush. They would go in every once in a while and smack him around. The UN told the Ugandan Army to leave him alone. So they have. This wholeKony thing is a lil late. This kind of shit happens over there all the time, 10,000 men women and children slaughtered with the blessing of the UN on the Ivory Coast. Because the UN didn't like the legally elected president. Typical America, coming to the party late.

The post does not give me any information about what this topic is about. All it has is a linked video. A video that no one has told me what it is or even about. So why would I watch a 30 minute video without knowing what I am first gonna be watching?

But the official UN's stance is the man hasn't been heard or seen from since he left uganda, yes ppl are still going missing but the thing is the president of uganda is also committing genocide on a massive scale but we let that slide because a video came out that made ppl feel bad about some thingthat happened over 6years ago but portrays it as current events... So now we are all butt hurt because of the actions of a 80 year old man who is assumed to be dead.

Honestly its not worth the watch, if anything go google some articles about it. You get a more informed idea of whats going on, the people to lazy to actually read are the ones who don't have all the facts. :\
