So you rather use something with less features?

If people can't trust Elevations not to DDoS them, why the fuck should they trust him to create a safe server software that they won't have to worry about using? Eoserv is just as capable of having these features, and if you can't get together a team that can bring it to that level, then your game isn't going anywhere anyway.

Where is the proof it's Ele? Does any one have hard evidence besides your opinion in text? And as much as I know, Ele doesn't code the source. Hollow handles it all, the only time Ele puts any input into the source is when bugs need fixing. This is just to my understanding because when I talk with Hollow he is the one always working on the source. When ever I give Hollow ideas to add into the source he codes it. I even watched him code some of it over teamviewer.

If it was quality over quantity I would still go with EOSource because of how simple and effective it is.

Read the first page, stopped when some one said that there was a working ban command....it's easy to bypass with proxies. Ban command might as well not exist.

Hollow has expressed in the past that Elevations has access and does things with the source that he is unaware of. I forget exactly how it came up in one of these topics, but it was made very clear that Hollow has little, if any control over what Elevations does to the software.

Exactly. From Elevation's reputation around here. Why would you trust him to use a program he has "toyed" with. That's why I'd rather trust EOServ because we all know Sausage wouldn't put something in it unless he wanted revenge.

I'm just stating my opinion and pointing out none of you have any proof, all I see here is screen shots of an unknown character who could just be one of the staff members of that server just impersonating Ele. You guys say all this crap about him but not a single one of you can show at least one piece of good evidence.

Nothing is wrong with EOSource, the whole "backdoor" thing was resolved back in version 1.7, EOSource is now at version2.8with many great features. 

The only reason why people hate EOSource or wont give it a try is because of all these damn rumors about Ele, the source is great and deserves a little more attention then it's currently getting. @Kody you can still make your server unique with a rev like EOSource because of all the things you can edit to make ityour own. No servers get over 3 players because no one has any good staff teams. 

Also Kody, if you wanted your game to be special you wouldn't be copying someone elses game. Itisn'teven unique nomatter how much you change about the server or the client, it will always originate fromVult-r.

Custom coded client (not just graphics) custom graphics as well, an hole new features would make it a hole new type of game.. The logic of saying it will always be a game from vult is like saying fresh water fish can live in salt water...sure some can but others can't. Its kind of like how EO is based off another game and how that game is based off another game... Almost every game I have ever played have been based off some thing else, either books/movies/games. 

Any kind of emulator for mmo's can be used to make some thing new an special if you put your mind to it... just like Eclipse an Extremeworld had their run at the mmo world and some good games came out of it.

Eosource is simply just another revision for you lazy kiddies to use instead of learning how to code and expand your brain power.

Actually I agree with you, its abunch of hear say...

But you can't say ele has never farmed information or "hacked" peoples msn's and exploit bugs on eoserv.... So who's to say he wouldn't go a little further an "hirer" or even dirty his own hands to attack servers?

And, Elevations would do anything to stop people from using their imagination and make them use EOSource.
A good server comes up using EOServ and it is already quite popular. Elevations sees it and rages. Simple as that.
