Okay 1st lets go over them:

EOSERV Forum Rules

1. Global Rules

1. Do not type "lol liek u do dis way" - this is a public forum, not a message to your friends on MSN.

2. Try to be helpful to everyone.

3. Do not harass or troll any other users for any reason.

2. Posting Rules

1. Topics should have a descriptive subject line. (not "help me" or "hey guys read this")

2. Do not post overly obscene imagery (i.e. enough to distract from the purpose of the forum).

3. Do not post any illegal content or links to it (warez, serials, keygens, etc). This includes copyrighted material (e.g. official EO files).

4. Do not post if you have nothing to add to a conversation.

5. Do not edit your posts in an attempt to delete them.

3. Topic Rules

1. Do not post with the intention of only bringing visitors to your own websites/servers (advertising) outside of the Advertisements forum. Topics should be placed in the right forum; read the forum descriptions and rules topics for more information. Stay on topic, create a new thread for each new discussion topic.

   Now to why you are all rebels.. on any givin' day I watch all of us break these rules.. on a normal forum you would of been banned already including my self... But for some reason we the mod/admin team don't enforce them.. I think its because we accept that your all (including myself) rebelzzzz dawg!

   No really though why do you think the rules don't get followed? I really would like to know, on any givin' day I'm asked over msn,"Can you delete my post"... I reply no an with in minutes the post is changed to "delete me" which is breaking a simple rule... We have a major troll infestation but thats all over eo anyways I guess... But whats your opinion on this matter? Should rules be enforced? Should we just not care? Whats on your mind!?

Oh I just wanted to hear the logic behind most the peoples thought process, like maybe they didn't read the rules?

Lol I'm not going to go all robocop now or anything still gonna do the same thing I have been, deleting useless topics/post, locking rage fits/not needed threads.

I try an enforce them but with the lack of other options besides deleting/banning its simi hard.
If we had a "no talk" kind of feature where after some one has been warned we can ban them from replying/posting new threads I think that would help a bit with moderation.

So see before I was caring about eoserv again, I trolled so I can see why people do it or why they don't care about the rules.. but I wanted to try an get others perspectives maybe some of the trolls could explain why they do it.. or why people change the topic to -delete- when it could of helpedother users..

Enforce the rules is what I say.

Don't delete posts, instead, locked the topic so they can't be edited and leave the posts there for the OP's to learn from their immature mistakes. If we don't do things the hard way, people will never learn. And if they quit, well that's one less idiot.

People that spend their time wisely will learn and will appreciate the mods and the rules, you only get a mod position if you're given the benefit of the doubt. You are mature enough to take that position, and you should set an example to everybody. Do what you think is just.
